Terms of Service
Effective 15 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Lisran. They cover what the service does, what we ask of you, and — importantly — what our cost figures are and are not.
The service
Lisran connects to your AI providers' usage and billing APIs and presents your spend broken down by provider, model, team, member, customer and product. It is a read-only reporting tool. It does not route inference, does not change your provider configuration, and is not a billing or payment system.
Accounts
Lisran is currently invite-only. Accounts are created from an invitation issued to a specific email address, and invitations expire. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account.
Workspace admins can invite and remove other members. Removing someone ends their access but does not delete spend history already attributed to them.
Connecting your provider keys
By adding a provider API key you confirm that:
- you are authorised to connect that account to a third-party tool;
- the key is scoped to reading usage and billing data, and no more than that;
- you will revoke it here, and at the provider, if that stops being true.
We will use the key only to read usage and cost data for your workspace. We will never use it to issue inference requests or to modify anything in your provider account.
How cost figures are produced — and what they are not
Lisran estimates the cost of each usage record from token counts and published list prices, then calibrates each day's total against the cost your provider reports for that day. Where that reported cost is available, daily totals track your provider's figures closely. Where it is not — the endpoint is unavailable, or a key lacks the necessary scope — the figures shown are estimates only.
Even when a daily total is calibrated, the split of that total across models, teams, customers and products is derived from list prices. It can therefore diverge from what you were actually charged where discounts or pricing modifiers apply to some usage and not other usage — batch processing, prompt-caching rates, negotiated or enterprise pricing, regional endpoint premiums, or promotional rates.
Your provider's invoice is the authoritative record of what you owe. Lisran is a reporting and analysis tool, and its figures are not a substitute for that invoice, an accounting record, or financial advice. Cost-saving recommendations are estimates of a ceiling based on your historical usage; they are not a guarantee of any saving, and whether a cheaper model suits a given workload is your decision to make.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- connect a provider account you are not authorised to connect;
- attempt to access another customer's workspace or data;
- probe, scan or attempt to defeat the service's authentication or rate limits;
- resell or redistribute the service without our written agreement;
- use the service to break the law or your providers' own terms.
Your data and our software
Your data stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you — storing, processing and displaying it within your workspace. You can export it as CSV at any time. Our handling of it is described in the Privacy Policy.
The service itself — the software, interface and branding — remains ours. These terms grant you a right to use it, not to own it.
Availability
We aim to keep Lisran running and accurate, but it is provided as-is during the beta and we do not commit to an uptime level unless we have agreed one with you in writing. Provider APIs occasionally change, rate-limit or go down; when that happens a sync may be delayed or incomplete.
We may change or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces what the service does, we will give workspace admins reasonable notice.
Termination
You can stop using Lisran and ask us to close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, or if required by law. On termination we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy — export anything you want to keep first.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page and move the effective date at the top. Material changes will be emailed to workspace admins before they take effect; continuing to use Lisran afterwards means you accept them.
